HIGH street pawnbroker Cash Generator has teamed up with a children’s hockey team to celebrate the opening of its Welling store.
The retailer has agreed to sponsor the Bexleyheath and Belvedere Hockey Club under 10s team for the 2012/2013 season.
All the team’s youngsters have received a brand new kit thanks to the firm.
Cash Generator’s Welling store manager Zuk Dhahan said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to be opening a store in Welling and to be a part of this great community.
“Keeping with the sporting theme that’s currently sweeping the UK we have decided to mark this occasion by supporting a local youth hockey team.”
Youth development officer for Bexleyheath and Belvedere Hockey Club Andrei Mendis added: “We’ve been searching for a new kit sponsor for our under 10s team so we were thrilled when Cash Generator approached us.
“The children are delighted with their new kits and can’t wait to start the season in style.”
The new Cash Generator store is located in Bellegrove Road, Welling.
