A BEXLEYHEATH solicitor has secured membership to a scheme recognising its excellence in the home-buying process.
T G Baynes, based in The Broadway, underwent a tough assessment in order to gain membership to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
Conveyancing is the term for administrative work required when a property is purchased, to ensure the purchaser buying the property owns it legally.
T G Baynes chairman Keith Gough said: “Buying and selling a home can be a stressful time. “Choosing a solicitor to help in that process just got easier.
“By looking for a CQS firm like T G Baynes the public can seek out a firm that has proved its commitment to quality.
“The overall beneficiaries will be clients who use T G Baynes when buying a home.”
In order to maintain CQS status, the company must undergo annual reviews.
The Law Society introduced the scheme to promote high standards in the home-buying process.
