Shortlands teen arrested after laser pen shone at Met Police helicopter

A TEENAGER was arrested last night (October 7) after a laser pen was shone at a police helicopter which was conducting anti-burglary patrols over Bromley.
Bromley police ground units were sent to the 17-year-old’s home in Shortlands and he was arrested on suspicion of endangering an aircraft.
He has been bailed to return to Bromley police station on December 3.
A laser pen was recovered from his address.
