TWO men have been arrested following a cash machine theft at Brands Hatch.

Shortly before midnight yesterday (October 3) a stand alone cash point was stolen and loaded into a van.

Officers found the van and two suspects in the car park of a hotel in Haven Court Road, Gravesend.

The van is thought to have been stolen and a cash point was also seized by police.

A 37-year-old man from Gravesend and a 40-year-old man, of no fixed abode, were arrested in connection with the incident.

Officers from The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have launched an investigation and the men, who are being held at Medway Police Station, will be interviewed later today.
