A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with the murder of Shaun Chambers from Lewisham.
Police were called to Thurlow Street in the Aylesbury Estate, Elephant and Castle, on September 26 following reports of an assault.
They discovered Mr Chambers and another man suffering from stab wounds. Both men were taken to a south London hospital but Mr Chambers, aged 21, died soon after he arrived.
Following a post-mortem examination, his cause of death was given as a single stab wound to the heart. The other man, aged 18, has since been discharged from hospital.
A 16-year-old from Peckham will appear in Camberwell Green Youth Court today (Oct 4) charged with murder and two counts of GBH with intent.
