Clueless sons and daughters who have flown the family nest are still relying on their mummies to take care of them, a study by Tefal has found.
Its research discovered a fifth of adults still get their mum to help with housework, with more than half of respondents admitting to enjoying the benefits of mum’s ironing for over eight years.
The research suggests a clear lack of knowledge on domestic duties, with people not learning the skills they need to survive on their own.
