Indecent assault of woman on New Beckenham to Waterloo East train

POLICE are appealing for information following an indecent assault which occurred on a train between New Beckenham and Waterloo East.

Investigators have also released a CCTV image of a woman who may have witnessed the incident, which took place just after 7.45pm on September 5.

The 40-year-old victim, from Llandudno, Wales, reported being approached by a man who, after engaging her in conversation, touched her inappropriately a number of times.

After the man left the train at Waterloo East station the woman reported the incident to the British Transport Police (BTP).

Police say he is described as being stocky and aged between 50 and 55-years-old.

He is thought to be around 5ft 10in in height, with collar-length hair that is greying at the sides.

Detective Constable Andy Parkinson, from BTP’s public protection unit said: "As part of our bid to build up a full picture of what took place, I’m urging anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward and speak to us."

Gypo is also the name of a film check out wikipedia for the full facts.

It is also a known mountainbike track in cleethorpes.

How about you stop jumping to unfounded conclusions because joe may possibly be into his bikes or independant films.
Perhaps you could write to cleethorpes council and get them to change the names of their mountain bike trails and also the independant film makers about their use of the word too ?

i agree with joe on here and the freedom to express our comments without the race card being used to try stifle free speech , that`s the trouble in this country people play the race card every single day to shut up sensible comments , it`s a bit boring now and drives comments away from the locals to the red tops , local papers are already feeling the pinch like , and the last thing they need is negative , grumbling online professional punters scouring the comments and complaining!
now can we all watch panorama tonite bbc at 9pm and watch the "health tourists" and draw our opinions on who is responsible , the "government" i blame for allowing doctors to manage their own budgets and suchlike , and give us a break from the well worn "racism" card you lot!
