Eileen Arthurs to go on trial accused of misusing Police National Computer in Gravesend
THE TRIAL of a police officer accused of misusing the Police National Computer and database records in Gravesend may take place in Hampshire.
Eileen Arthurs, aged 52, of Wansunt Road in Bexley, is charged with wilful misconduct in public office between December 2003 and March this year.
Appearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday (September 28), a case was put forward by the Crown Prosecution Service to move the trial to Winchester Crown Court.
Judge Jeremy Carey adjourned the case until Friday (October 5), giving both the CPS and Arthurs’ defence a week to submit applications.
Arthurs entered no plea at the hearing.
