Kent Police have published a picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which happened in London Road at 1.50pm on August 4.

The image shows a man filling the petrol tank of a Mercedes Benz SL500, which cost more than £60,000 when new, that was stolen from a security driver by two men.

It was driven using false registration plates during the robbery.

Witnesses reported later seeing the two men in the area of The Course, in Eltham, forcing the stolen cash box open. The Mercedes, meanwhile, was found abandoned in a nearby car park.

If anyone recognises the man contact Kent Police on 101 quoting reference YY/013962/12.
