DETECTIVES investigating an assault in Abbey Wood have issued an e-fit of a man they would like to identify.

The incident occurred on Friday September 14 at 11.30 pm.

A 20-year old woman was indecently assaulted walking along an alleyway running between Harrow Manor Way and Felixstowe Road.

The suspect is described as being around 40 years of age, 5ft 8in with short, light brown hair and glasses.

Bexley CID is investigating the incident and are appealing to the public for help in identifying the suspect.

I am sorry that this young lady has suffered so. But why are we only alerted 2 weeks or more after the event. Surely the perpetrator would gave gone to ground or got clean away in that time. I hope he gets caught soon.
