V Festival ticket fraud case against Greenhithe man collapses

A CASE against a Greenhithe man accused of fraudulently selling more than £12,000 of non-existent festival tickets has collapsed.

David Anthony Fisher, of Watermans Way in Greenhithe, faced 32 counts of dishonestly making false representations to make gain.

The 42-year-old was accused of selling non-existent V Festival tickets in cash and over the web between January 1 and August 21.

But the prosecution at Maidstone Crown Court, on September 26, offered no evidence and not guilty verdicts were recorded for all charges.
