AN ARTICULATED lorry was involved in a three-vehicle accident in Bexleyheath this morning (September 26).

Emergency services were called to the A207 close to the junction of Crook Log and Avenue Road, at 10.44am.

Bexley police say an articulated lorry crashed into the back of a car and the resulting impact caused the vehicle to hit a second car in front of it.

One male driver suffered back injuries following the crash and he was treated at the scene by paramedics from London Ambulance Service.

The road was blocked while the incident was cleared with five bus routes being placed on diversions.
