CHARLTON Athletic will be supporting our troops by donating tickets for their home matches this season.
The charity Tickets For Troops, which provides free tickets for sporting, musical and theatrical events to members of the Armed Forces, and has a partnership with the Football League.
More than 17,500 tickets have so far been donated across the country for this season.
Head of club development Rick Everit said: "We are pleased to be able to show our support and gratitude in this small way to those who put themselves in harm’s way on our country’s behalf, especially given the Valley’s proximity to Woolwich with its strong military associations over many years."
