Southeastern is up for industry gongs
SOUTHEASTERN Trains is a finalist in multiple categories for two top industry awards at a ceremony tomorrow night (September 20).
The nominations are for the National Rail Awards and the South East Regional Final of the National Apprenticeship and National Training Awards 2012.
The company has been nominated in categories for excellence in passenger services, environment and safety, teamwork and training.
Head of customer services for Southeastern Sarah Boundy said: "Being nominated and announced as finalists for these awards top-off what has been an excellent year for Southeastern.
"We have just successfully delivered the transport for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, where we carried over 12.6 million passengers in just a few short weeks.
"The awards also come at a time when our punctuality performance and customer satisfaction are both at record highs.
"We’re pleased to see that our commitment to providing a good service has been recognised with these prestigious nominations."
