Deptford woman Elaine Joyner charged after baby given 'bleach' in Eltham McDonald's

A 53-YEAR-OLD woman from Deptford has been charged over an incident on Thursday (September 13) where an 11-month-old boy was handed a bottle suspected to contain bleach in Eltham McDonald's.
Elaine Joyner, of Vaughan Williams Close, was charged this morning (September 15) with administering a noxious substance with intent to endanger life.
She will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court this morning.
The child, called Jonjo, was rushed to hospital after throwing up the unknown substance but has since returned to his Mottingham home.
