Swanley voluntary organisations invited to apply for £5,000 funding

VOLUNTARY organisations in Swanley are invited to apply for up to £5,000 in grant funding.

The Sevenoaks District Council Community Grant Scheme aims to financially help organisations offering services to homeowners who are in the greatest need.

Two different types of grant are available – small grants of £500 or less and larger grants of between £500 and £5,000.

Applications for the grants must be submitted to Sevenoaks District Council by November 16.

Sevenoaks District Council's cabinet member for community grants Cllr Pat Bosley says: “Voluntary and community groups provide important services to Sevenoaks District residents.

“Once again we are delighted to be supporting them through this scheme.”

This financial year, 29 organisations across the Sevenoaks district received a total of £54,790 in grants.
