Discount cycling scheme launched for Greenwich people
A CYCLING scheme for Greenwich is giving people the chance to hire a bike for £10 a month.
Run by NHS Greenwich, the six-month pilot aims to improve fitness and reduce traffic congestion in the borough.
The scheme is open to all people in the borough who have a basic level of cycling competence.
Participants will be asked to attend an induction session for information on cycle safety and security, and also take part in sessions taken by qualified trainers.
They can then use the bikes as many times as they like in the month and have the chance to buy the bike at a discount., call
