Gracie Glisson, 88, knitted 78 hats for smoothie bottles
HATS off to Northfleet pensioner Gracie Glisson who has knitted bundles of mini woolly hats for charity.
The 88-year-old has stitched 78 hats, including grapes, football kits and matching coats.
They fit over Innocent smoothie bottles and will be sold in Boots and Sainsbury’s stores throughout November with 25p from each going to Age UK to make winter warmer for older people in the UK.
