A 64-YEAR-OLD woman died after being hit by a bus in Mottingham as she got out of her car yesterday.

The collision happened at around 10.20am when the woman was hit by the 124 bus in Dunkery Road.

A London Ambulance spokesman said a crew treated her for chest injuries before she was taken as a priority case to King's College Hospital.

She died shortly after arriving at hospital.

Both Dunkery Road and Court Farm Road were closed until 3.30pm.

Although no arrests have been made the police collision investigation unit are currently investigating.
