Dartford Heath Street road accident leaves teenage girl in critical condition

A TEENAGE girl is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Dartford on Friday (September 7).

Emergency services were called to Heath Street, at the junction with Phoenix Place, at 6:30pm after the 18-year-old pedestrian was struck by a silver Mercedes Benz.

The girl, who is from the Dartford area, was flown to King’s College Hospital in London with serious injuries.

She remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital today (September 10).

Heath Street was closed for more than six hours while officers from the serious collision investigation unit investigated and the road reopened at 12.40am on Saturday (September 8).
