St John Ambulance launches Save a Life September campaign in Dartford
7:00am Monday 10th September 2012 in News By Kelly Smale
ST JOHN Ambulance has launched its Save a Life September campaign and will be holding free demonstrations in Dartford.
The charity is teaching people how to save a life using five easy to follow techniques and is handing out a free pocket-sized first aid guide.
The Orchards Shopping Centre will host demonstrations of the recovery position and CPR as well as how to treat bleeding, choking and heart attacks.
It takes place on Saturday (September 15) from 10am to 4pm.
Regional training manager for St John Ambulance, Ralph Brown, said: "Learning first aid is one of the single most important things you can do in your life.
"With basic first aid skills, anyone can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved and what could be more important than saving someone’s life?"
