CHILDREN enjoyed meeting SpongeBob SquarePants at Erith Riverside Shopping Centre over the weekend.
Youngsters had photos with their underwater hero and were transformed into princesses and scary monsters with free face painting.
Centre manager Barry Owen said: "It was fantastic seeing all the children having fun with SpongeBob SquarePants, we like to ensure that everybody enjoys their shopping experience at Erith and I think the parents had just as much fun as the kids on Saturday.
"It was a really lovely day."
SpongeBob is also an educational character who is very keen on saving the environment, encouraging children to help save water.
