THAMESMEAD adults are being invited to join a new seven-a-side football league.
The TM 7s league, which includes promotion, relegation, trophies and prizes, is being run at Trust Thamesmead’s new sports and leisure hub, in Joyce Dawson Way.
Sporting Club Thamesmead centre manager, Simon Jones, said: "Teams will be able to play on a bigger, better pitch than a five-a-side football pitch with qualified referees and extremely competitive fees.
"We are currently taking bookings for free introduction tournaments ahead of starting the league in the autumn so if you are a football coach, manager or match secretary, why not enter your team into this fresh, new seven-a-side football league and take advantage of your exclusive free Sporting Club Thamesmead captain’s pack."
Sporting Club Thamesmead is a multi-million pound facility which has been funded by Trust Thamesmead, the Football Foundation, the Homes and Communities Agency, the London Marathon Trust, FIFA, UEFA and Rank.
