POST offices in Dartford and Gravesend have been selected to sell stamps picturing Olympic gold medalists within 24 hours of them winning.
The post offices in Dartford’s Hythe Street and at the Alma, in Riverview Park, Gravesend, are among 500 to be selected nationwide.
They will both stock the limited edition stamps by lunchtime the day after the success of the athlete or winning team.
An additional 4,700 post offices will stock the stamps within a week, including stores in Crayford, Hartley, South Darenth and Culverstone.
The Team GB gold medal stamps will be available to purchase in sets of six stamps for £3.60 and will feature the name of the athlete or winning team, as well as the date of the win and the venue.
