A MOTORCYCLIST who died following a crash in Dartford has been named as Brian Reddin.

Kent Police was called on July 17 just after 8am to reports of a collision between a white Peugeot 306 and a motorcycle on the roundabout where Princes Road meets the A282/M25.

Mr Reddin, from the Tonbridge and Malling area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 56-year-old's family have released a statement paying tribute to him.

It said: "Brian will sadly be missed by many.

"He was a loving husband and a doting father-of-two and a granddad to four.

"He was a, take me as I am man, which everyone admired. This is such a devastating loss as Brian was a very experienced rider of over 30 years.

"We want to say a big thank you to all the emergency services especially the paramedics and the air ambulance who worked hard to help him.

"We would also like to thank the witnesses that have already come forward for all their help in trying to piece together what actually happened to Brian.

"We are also appealing to any witnesses that haven't already yet done so because we still need your help in finding out exactly what happened to our Brian and to give us a bit of closure.

"Can we also say thank you to all the family and friends for your ongoing support.

"Please be aware that the air ambulance is only partly funded by the NHS so please contribute to a very worthy cause that could save your life next time."
