Firefighters called to remove ring stuck on woman's finger
A WOMAN needed firefighters to remove her ring this morning after it became stuck on her finger.
London Fire Brigade was called at around 3am to Princess Royal University Hospital where a woman had attended after being bitten on the finger while doing some gardening.
Her finger swelled up while she was asleep and she was unable to take her ring off.
Five firefighters from Orpington Fire Station attended the scene with a special ring cutter.
They left by 3.45am.
