Driver injured in Stone crash might not have been wearing seatbelt
A DRIVER who allegedly was not wearing a seatbelt suffered suspected head injuries after a crash in Stone last night (June 27).
Firefighters had to cut the roof off the woman’s Nissan Micra so she could be treated by ambulance staff and then taken to hospital.
A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman says they were told by the ambulance staff that the woman is not thought to have been wearing a seatbelt.
The other driver in the front-on crash which happened near the Bull pub in London Road, Stone, managed to get herself out of her vehicle.
It is not known if she needed any medical treatment.
