A SENIOR Bexley councillor has resigned from his position on the council's cabinet.

Cabinet member for Public Realm and Community Safety, Peter Craske has resigned from his cabinet duties but will continue to serve as a ward councillor of Blackfen and Lamorbey, which he has represented since 2002.

Cllr Craske stood down on Sunday (June 24), citing personal reasons.

An announcement about who will take over his Cabinet responsibilities will be made on Friday (June 29).
