Suspected murder in Northfleet

POLICE are investigating a suspected murder in Northfleet.

Kent Police was called at 11.07pm last night (June 21) to reports of a disturbance at an address in Holly Court, Northfleet.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and found a 29-year-old man with life threatening injuries who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men, aged 17 and 18, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The area remains cordoned off to allow forensic officers to attend the scene.

Road diversions are in place as the road is closed at Fisherman Hill junction with Ford Road.

A post mortem examination is expected to be carried out this afternoon.

The identity of the victim is not being released until all next of kin have been informed.

Obviously his injuries were more than life-threatening if he was pronounced dead at the scene!
