A DAY and night of entertainment at a Darenth pub has raised more than £1,200 for a Northfleet charity.
Organised by singer Maddie Hart, the event at The Chequer’s Pub, in Darenth Road South, raised money for EllenorLions Hospice.
The singer - who has supported the likes of Michael Barrymore and Jim Davidson in the past - performed, as did a Jessie J lookalike.
A magician, an auction and a raffle also helped raise vital funds on May 31.
Community fundraiser Sarah Dell said: “We could not continue to provide the services we have without the support of the local community and are extremely grateful to Maddie for all her hard work, support and for her time whilst organising her event.”
