People invited on free guided walk in Joyden's Wood
PEOPLE are being invited on a free guided walk to explore Joyden’s Wood.
On June 30, national charity the Woodland Trust will take people around the wood and teach them about the heritage of the area.
The walk forms part of a project by the trust to explore the woodland’s history.
Joyden’s Wood site manager, Simon Bateman said: "Joyden’s Wood is an amazing site, full of stories and hidden treasures.
"This guided walk is our chance to let people know why this wood is so special and why understanding the heritage is so important."
