Children on Sage Educational's Trust Mend course meet Team GB handball team
YOUNGSTERS involved in a unique health programme have met members of Team GB's handball squad.
Children who have been doing Sage Educational's Trust Mend course watched the women's team play Montenegro at Crystal Palace's National Sports Centre.
Afterwards, youngsters joined the sportswomen for a photoshoot.
Goalkeeper Jane Mayes even followed up with a visit to Bellingham's Watergate School, meeting some of the children again and speaking about living a healthy lifestyle.
Director of Sage Delena Davison said: "It's important for the children to be excited about exercise and it has been really inspiring for them to learn about handball and meet the Olympic squad."
The free Mend 10-week course, funded by Lewisham NHS, helps families get healthy by teaching them top tips on how to eat better and keep active. To find out more visit sageeducationaltrust.org
