POLICE want to speak to two men in connection with a violent assault and robbery.
A 17-year-old youth was hit on the head with a metal pole during an attack in a children's play area in Betts Park, Penge.
He has now returned home to convalesce and is expected to take two years to recover from his injuries.
The suspects - pictured below - stole a wallet and two mobile phones before running away. They are black and in their late teens or early 20s.
One of the men has dark skin, is about 6ft tall and was wearing dark clothing with a hood up.
The other has lighter skin, has slight facial hair and is about 5ft 5in tall. He was also wearing dark clothing and a brown hat.
