A TEA party was held at an iconic Bexleyheath building for an employee who has given 30 years service.
Karan King has worked at Red House in Bexleyheath since 1982, starting as a housekeeper for the Hollamby family, and now runs the National Trust tea room in what used to be the family garage.
The National Trust organised a party on Tuesday in the garden of the house, which was built by William Morris in 1859.
Karan worked for the Hollamby family for two decades, eventually becoming a full-time carer for widow Doris when she developed dementia, and was taken on by the National Trust when it took charge of the house in 2003.
