SEVEN Gravesend men have been charged with a string of offences following a brawl that hospitalised six people at a holiday park.

The men were arrested after police were called to Butlin’s in Bognor Regis, shortly after midnight on November 5 last year.

Scaffolders Craig Whittam, 27, of Britannia Drive and Andrew Wood, 29, of Portland Avenue have been charged with affray.

Daniel Asbury, 27, an air conditioning engineer from Marks Square in Northfleet has also been charged with affray along with two counts of common assault.

Carpenter Scott Robinson, 28, of York Road in Northfleet has been charged with affray and one count of common assault.

34-year-old Robert Green, a director from Stanley Crescent has been charged with affray and causing grievous bodily harm.

Scaffolder Sam Hedges, 28, of Lime Avenue in Northfleet has been charged with affray and possession of cocaine.

27-year-old scaffolder Farai Mutepfa, of Childs Crescent in Swanscombe, has been charged with affray and causing actual bodily harm.

A further six people were arrested at the holiday park but were released without charge.

All seven of the men have been bailed to appear at Chichester Magistrates’ Court on May 23.
