SOUTH London Healthcare NHS Trust [SLHT] has made an improvement in patient satisfaction in the latest survey.

The trust’s overall scores have improved by 2.3 per cent since last year, with this year’s scores higher on 50 out of the 64 questions asked in the national inpatient survey.

The Care Quality Commission [CQC] asked a random selection of patients questions about their care, treatment and quality of their stay.

SLHT chief executive Chris Streather said: “We are really pleased with the improvement of our scores, which demonstrates that patients are experiencing a better service at the trust.

“Set alongside the improvements in outcomes for patients, such as one of the lowest mortality rates in England, it shows that the changes we are implementing are making a positive difference to patients.”
