A YOUTH club which was on the brink of closure following budget cuts has received two new funding boosts.
JusB, which helps troubled young people between 11 and 23 in Bromley get into education and work, has just benefited from a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery fund.
The money will go towards mentoring young people and helping those who have slipped out of education find their way.
The news comes days after 95.8 Capital FM awarded the charity funding for a three day programme over the summer where young people will be able to take part in adventure activities like rock climbing, high ropes and raft building.
Project Manager Ned McWhirter said: “Small charities like ours have highs and lows - this is definitely good news for the people of Bromley.
“Preventing young people from getting into trouble pays. It benefits young people and it benefits society as a whole. A big thank you to everyone who has and is currently supporting us.”
