DANSON Park will be hosting a packed evening of celebrations on the day of the Olympic Torch Relay in Bexley.
The relay comes to Bexley on the afternoon of July 22, travelling from Erith Yacht Club through the borough to Danson Park.
More than 20,000 people are invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment provided by the London 2012 organising committee, which will include live music as well as acrobatic and dance performances.
There will also be a Bexley feel to the evening’s entertainment with stars of ‘The BexFactor,’ the boroughs music development project, performing their own song ‘Life’s What You Make It.’
Audience members will also have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Olympic Torch.
Tickets for the evening celebration are free but there is a small postage charge. Tickets will be available to order at bexley.gov.uk/torch from May 11.
