People might get annoyed with the council at times – but chopping the leader’s head off might be going a bit too far.
Luckily, Dartford Council leader Jeremy Kite’s beheading was just for a bit of fun to promote the upcoming Horrible Histories at The Orchard Theatre.
The good sport allowed Henry VIII, played by Simon Lloyd, to play at hacking off his melon in Central Park, Market Street.
Using actors and ground-breaking 3D special effects, Terrible Tudors and Vile Victorians are guaranteed to thrill parents and children alike.
Historical figures and events will come alive on stage and hover at the audience’s fingertips.
Horrible Histories runs at the venue between Tuesday June 19 and Saturday June 23.
