Boy punched in face during "unprovoked attack" on Swanley bus

DETECTIVES are trying to trace a man following an assault on a bus in Swanley.

The incident occurred on board a bus between Swanley and Hextable, at around 3:25pm on February 23.

A 16-year-old boy sustained bruising to his lip and his cheek as a result of being punched by the offender.

Following the assault, the bus pulled over and the offender got off.

PC Nick Bottle said: “It appears this was an entirely unprovoked attack on a boy who was much younger than the offender.

“We would like members of the public to study the image and contact us if they should recognise the man pictured.

“Alternatively, the man in the image may wish to contact us to rule himself out of enquiries.”
