A JUDGE has ordered a dangerous Pit Bull Terrier be destroyed after it was found by police in Welling.
Toan Ngoc Pham, 32, of Wickham Street, admitted owning the animal, which is classed as a fighting dog, at Bexley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (April 25).
The animal was found at an address in Glenmore Road on March 25.
The court told Pham the dog must be destroyed and handed him a 12-month conditional discharge.
He must also pay costs of £310.
The Pit Bull Terrier is one of four dangerous dogs banned in the country and it is illegal to breed, own, sell or abandon them.
