FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a house fire in Deptford last night (April 23).
The living room of a home in Albery Street was completely destroyed by the blaze but the four crews managed to stop it from spreading.
It took them around an hour to fight the flames after being called at around 9.40pm.
The crews from Deptford, New Cross and Greenwich left the scene by 2am after damping down.
It is not yet known what caused the fire and it is under investigation.
