HERE is still room for stall-holders at Greenwich's longest-running community festival.
The Plumstead Make Merry, which has been running on the common since 1978, is back after a cut in funding by Greenwich Council forced last year's event to cancel.
Taking place on June 2 from noon to 6pm, organisers promise it will be the biggest and best yet.
There will also be an award for 'best dressed stall', with the lucky winner offered a free space for the 2013 event, a trophy, and the chance to be photographed for inclusion in publicity material.
The deadline for applications is April 30. For more information, visit plumsteadmakemerry.co.uk or call 07889 598 343.
If you would like to volunteer as a steward, email plumsteadmakemerry@yahoo.co.uk or call 07818 236 871.
