A BELVEDERE woman will be tackling three marathons in five weeks to raise cash for a breast cancer charity.
Kate Simpson, of Cowper Road, is taking on MoonWalk's three land challenge, which involves completing a marathon in London, Edinburgh and Iceland.
Cash raised from the events on May12, June 9 and June 14 goes to Walk the Walk - a charity which provides grants to projects and campaigns involved in breast cancer.
Miss Simpson, 40, said: "My partner lost his first wife to breast cancer, she was 42 years old.
"I turned 40 last year and it sort of hits home that no one is immune from this and it could happen to anybody."
The mother-of-one has been raising sponsorship money by holding a coffee morning and tribute night with her friends.
