Not funny. She was only 18. The poor lamb. What a state her mind must have been in. I wish media woul stop referring to her as a thief. That was not all she was.

@ Needsalife, whilst it is sad she was only 18 and has lost her life, on the flip side of the coin she was 18 and therefore old enough to know the consequences of her actions when she went out stealing. If she had choosen a different road in life the police wouldn't have been looking for her would they and her life wouldn't have tragically been cut short. Two sides to every story.

I knew shenice from school and no matter what she had done she never deserved to die, she had a whole life ahead of her, People shouldnt express their feelingsabout her if they dont know the full story. She may have done wrong in her life but she was so young and this should never of happen, Thinking of all her family and friends at this sad time, Rest in peace princess xx

I cannot believe what I am reading. Shenise was 18. She was on the wrong road, yes. But she did not deserve to choose to die so young. She is not the first Young' un nor will she be the last, sadly. Please think about the bad state of affairs for our young one and how we can steer them in the right direction.

So sad, such a beautiful young woman gone in a moments foolishness.

Come on now we have all done stupid things, not on the 17th floor though.

I agree, and I am glad that I am not the only one showing compassion for this young girl. People: have some respect for the loss of this young lady's life and refrain from posting your bile. It's totally inappropriate. RIP Shanise.

My post has been removed too, though no explanation given! I thought these walls were all about offering all with an opinion the opportunity to express it. I understand the needs of the family and requirement for sensitivity but surely we too have a right to voice our opinion.

It takes a lot of violence to get 3 years for robbing people. It's a shame NS didn't leave plastic fantastic post up. That was a very interesting read into this little angel.
Put the liberal powers that be, in their yogurt knitted cardigan of care think they are in touch with the youth, if they have been mugged, burgled or assaulted. It's like their rite of passage and no one is allowed to speak out.

As I posted earlier, her crimes did not carry the death penalty, but for some reason you have declared yourself worthy enough to judge her, and believe you me, there is only one who can do that, and you also feel that nobody has the right to remove your offensive and cruel comments. You are not her judge and thankfully we can delete your comments. Stop attacking somone who cannot defend themselves, afterall, is that not the reason you have such a grudge against this young woman!!

I was having a pop at the NS delete master. Also how bad this paper has got. In some report the BNP fan boys are all over it, yet nothing is done.

Look if the NS didn't delete my posts you would've seen I said 'it's sad a young life has been taken like this'

Did I make her climb out of the window?.........NO!

Did I make her rob 3 people? ...... NO!

If this was a young man and any other crime no one would care. So because A) it's a female. B) it's only robbing people with violence or the treat of, then she a little darling and we should all say what a great person she was. EEEEERRRRRRR - HELL NO!

If this was a drug dealler would you be sad ? What about a drink driver that killed a kid ? How about a granny mugger or a rapist? What about a bank robber? or a pedo ?

well, to the comment above ^ yes you are right she was not a rapist or drug dealer or whatever else u said, she was a young 18 year old girl that i happened to know extremly well.. everybody has a past right? im sure ur not as innocent as your making out im sure u have done things wrong in your past but everyone deserves a second chance unfortunatly shenice will not get a second chance in life!! maybe u should put urself in her friends or her families shoes how owuld u feel if one of ur family members was trying to turn there life around and this happened! a little respect for her friends and family wouldnt hurt!! sleep tight my angel thinking of you every minute xxxxxxx

I have never robbed 3 people or climbed out of a 17th floor window. Got more brains than that. Anything I have been caught doing I have accepted the punishment for. Not tried to run away/ climb out a window from it.

I have lost mates that have done stupid things. They were stupid and resulted in their death. Yeah I miss them but thinking about I don't want stupid people near me because they could get me killed as well.

She has paid, she went to prison and she lost her life. What else would you have her do?

And what is a 'traveller type'? That seems a little racist to me! Or are you suggesting that I might be racist? Think carefully before you post another stupid comment.

Of course this is very a tragic and shocking event for the family and friends of the victim.

However, the facts are this young girl had been evading a return to prison since the early summer of last year. I'm sorry, I have seen extracts of her facebook page reported on other media sites which indicate her attitude was kind of 'live by the sword, die by the sword'. Its also very sad that it took the police so long to trace her to Woolwich for a breach of her licence when the NS reported last July that the police knew she was a frequent visitor of that area.

I can only assume that family and friends had had no contact with her in all that time otherwise surely they would be accessory's after the fact.

And for those who persist in deleting comments - read the NS headline first. They called her a 'convicted robber' long before anyone commented here first. Many people on the forum comment (as 'The Wall' clearly states) about the poor quality of local news reporting and attention grabbing headlines. That is what it's all about.

I genuinely feel sad for anyone's grief but I also feel for the victims of horrible crimes by nasty people. 3 Years is a long sentence so if news was reported properly maybe we might draw better conclusions.

Shanise, I don't know who you were or what you might have become but I do hope one day your family may find some sense of peace.

Facebook is a virtual place, people can pretend to be whatever they want. Personally I would not give it too much credit, but I know the Jeremy Kyle lovers of this world do. Also, yes, she did have almost ONE year left to serve, not life, One year! The posts that have been deleted are due to the revolting nature of those who have put things like jumping was good etc, not about her conviction. As for her family and friends being 'accessory's after the fact'?????? What rubbish, too much CSI. Leave them alone. She did not die by the sword, she was frightened, she did not want to go back to prison maybe, which yes she should, for one year, she panicked and she jumped and now she is dead.

Oh, fair enough, anyone who rights bad stuff on facebook at the age of 18 and runs from the police must die. Wow, gonna lose a lot of our teenage population..... all the rioters, illegal drivers, domestic abusers.... may as well close the prisons.

Be honest, you have warped views on justice .... your comments on another story that is running at the moment prove that. You have clearly stated that you think tbat it is okay for a woman to be beaten into a coma by a man she was trying to do some sort of business with, at no point, did you blame the man. She was selling pirate dvds. Perhaps it is women you have a problem with?

I have issues with all crime, criminals and supporters of crime and criminals. You on the other hand seem to be on the criminals side.

My point was, regarding your comment, that you do not suggest for a moment how bad the man is to have done this. You seem to be saying it was a fair thing to happen. It is how it reads! I am on tbe side of justice, but not your type. The sort given out by those of rational and qualified minds. People should serve sentences. Sentences should be longer. Too many people get away with light sentences. But perspective is required here. Myra H. Killed children, her sentence reflects that, she should never see daylight again. This young girl did no more than so many others do, she was released early, which can only have besn earnt, she failed to report to probation....not murder is it, not drink driving, not child molesting, not rape...and she hid from going back to prison....silly, but still not evil. Yes she made that choice to jump, noone knows her mind. What i do not understand is what more you want or why you feel the need to attack her, she can not fight back, you should be happy!

Whatever the facts of this are and they've not been fully investigated yet - it's dreadfully sad a young woman could lose her life in this way. Many kids go off the rails - and some get to turn things around and become fulfilled in and beautiful human beings - maybe she did some bad things. "Do not Judge so you may not be Judged" Rest in Peace Child.

Shenice did not deserve this and all you can do is say "Good that she died" or trash like that. How do you think her parents are feeling? What if they read this page? What if your family member died and others insult them? I don't think you would like that, do you? Now I may not have known Shenice, but I feel some pity for her. RIP Shenice-Paris Goff, May you live on in heaven.
