NORTH West Kent College now offers a construction programme at their newly redeveloped Dartford campus.
From September the campus, in Oakfield Lane, will offer a multi-skills construction one-year programme, which will include units covering electrical, ceramic tiling, carpentry, brick work and painting and decorating.
Vice principal Penny Morgan said: "We are offering this course so that students can experience a range of construction industry skills, but do not have to travel to Gravesend for them.
"Students have heard about our good reputation and want to be trained by our highly skilled and knowledgeable staff.
"The courses on offer will also include a link to the award winning Sustainable Construction Centre, SusCon, which is part of a joint initiative, based at the Bridge in Dartford".
The college has also introduced sports, business and secretarial courses at the newly redeveloped Gravesend campus, in Lower Higham Road.
