A WOMAN was rescued by firefighters after a fire broke out in a mid-terraced house in Abbey Wood.
The blaze happened in Congress Road on April 8 and the woman, who was suffering from smoke inhalation, was treated by London Ambulance Service crews.
Part of the living room was damaged by the fire.
Two fire engines and around ten firefighters from Plumstead fire station were called out at 10.02pm.
The fire was under control by 10.45pm. Its cause is under investigation.
