A TOP college is opening a new art gallery - funded by one of its former pupils.
Eltham College's Gerald Moore Gallery, named after the artist benefactor, aims to create a new space in the area for contemporary and modern art.
On the ground floor there is a large room to host the main exhibitions while the first floor features a dedicated workshop, project area smaller exhibitions, and a larger space that will display Mr Moore's work.
As part of his donation to the school, his own paintings, prints and drawings, as well as a small collection of work by Australian artists from the 1960s, have been donated for display.
The gallery will be open throughout May and is free of charge to the public on Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm or by appointment during the week.
