A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been charged following reports of suspicious behaviour in Dartford.
James Butler, of Meadside Walk, Chatham, was arrested in the early hours of Thursday (March 29) by police responding to a report that two men were allegedly acting suspiciously around vehicles in Dartford.
Officers was called to the Fleet Road area at around 3.20am.
Two men were seen getting out of a small hatchback car in the area of St Margarets Close where they started running towards a nearby field.
Butler has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle and remanded in custody.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious.
