A FATHER and son have been jailed for their part in a major Mottingham drug-dealing operation worth more than £100,000.

Sam Moore, aged 28, of Horley Road, Mottingham, and his 58-year-old dad Anthony Moore, of Ravenscroft Crescent, Mottingham, were both sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court.

The dopey duo were arrested in 2011 after police raids in Southwood Road, Horley Road and Ravenscroft Crescent uncovered large amounts of drugs including skunk weed, high purity cocaine and cannabis resin.

Police, who also seized drug factory paraphernalia, estimate the total value of the narcotics was £103,504.

Sam Moore was sentenced to six years for possession with intent to supply amphetamine sulphate along with 18 months for possession with intent to supply cocaine.

He was also jailed for nine months for production of cannabis, a year for possession with intent to supply cannabis and a further three years imprisonment for possession of criminal property, namely £10,000.

Anthony Moore was jailed for seven-and-a-half months for conspiracy to supply cannabis.

PC Chris Lewis from the Operation Trilogy unit Lewisham, said: "This operation has taken out the whole of this network and is part of our continued drive to rid Lewisham and neighbouring boroughs of criminal networks that cause significant harm to communities and crime levels."

Alongside the Moores, John Badham, aged 31, of Southwood Road, was jailed for seven-and-a-half months for conspiracy to supply cannabis.

A fourth man, Brett Saddler, aged 55, from Ayselford in Kent was handed a four-month suspended sentence for being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

All four men had pleaded guilty to the offences.
